Supplies
If you have a kit, use it.
If *you* are the kit, get all of your supplies together:
- Sterile gloves (full gown donning if you have time)
- 5 Fr umbilical line (3.5Fr for premature baby)
- Substitute: Use a 5Fr feeding tube
- Umbilical tape (or thick silk suture)
- Chlorhexidine
- Forceps or a hemostat
- Scalpel
- Saline flush
